Your bird MUST have a cage for its safety and as an emotional haven
Bar spacing needs to be appropriate for the type of bird you have
Provide at least two natural branch perches in their cage - a small one which allows their toes to wrap around compeletey, and a larg one so their toes rest flat. Safe branches with leaves are a great option
Have several bird-safe toys in the cate - ones they can destroy are most fun.
Change cage papers daily. Don't use corncob or other bedding - they promote bacteria
Clean cage thoroughly with soap and water at least once a month
